    General Manager (Commercial)

    About the Role

    The General Manager, Commercial (GMC) will lead and manage the company's commercial operations, focusing on driving revenue growth, fostering business partnerships, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role encompasses oversight of the Export Team, Research and Development (R&D) Team, Extended Consumer Responsibility (ECR) initiatives, and Contract Manufacturing activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Commercial Strategy

    • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends and understand customer behavior.
    • Value Proposition & Pricing: Define a compelling value proposition and optimize pricing strategies to enhance competitiveness.
    • Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop and implement strategies for sales, marketing, and distribution channels.
    • Sales & Marketing: Set sales targets, launch marketing campaigns, and monitor their performance.
    • Performance Metrics: Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and areas for improvement.

    Business Partnerships

    • Partner Identification: Identify and evaluate potential partners that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
    • Negotiations: Conduct due diligence and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Strategic Alliances: Cultivate alliances to create synergies and expand market access.
    • Supplier Relationships: Strengthen relationships with key suppliers and manage supply chain efficiency.
    • Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance and impact of partnerships on business growth.
    • OEM Engagement: Engage with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other partners to enhance collaboration.

    Export Team Management

    • International Expansion: Execute strategic plans for expanding into international markets.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations.
    • Logistics Oversight: Oversee logistics and supply chain processes to ensure efficiency.
    • Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with international customers to drive sales and loyalty.

    Research and Development (R&D)

    • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to various R&D projects.
    • Innovation: Drive innovation for both existing and new product lines.
    • Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for products and technologies.
    • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster collaboration between the R&D team and other departments.
    • Customer-Centric Development: Support R&D initiatives that meet evolving customer needs and market demands.

    Extended Consumer Responsibility (ECR)

    • Partnership Development: Identify and secure corporate partners for tire recycling programs.
    • Program Customization: Develop ECR programs tailored to partner needs and sustainability goals.
    • Implementation Oversight: Oversee the implementation of ECR programs, including logistical aspects.
    • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze ECR program performance against sustainability and financial targets.

    Exhibition and Events

    • Event Coordination: Organize pop-up sales and various events to promote products.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to plan, organize, and execute exhibitions and sales events.

    Contract Manufacturing

    • Manufacturer Engagement: Engage local and international manufacturers for integrating FREEE Recycle products into new offerings.
    • Network Management: Create and manage a network of contract manufacturers both locally and internationally.
    • Service Level Assessment: Regularly assess the quality, speed, and convenience of services provided by contract manufacturers.
    • Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for contract manufacturers to ensure seamless operations.

    Qualifications

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in senior management roles within commercial functions in the manufacturing sector, particularly with durable consumer goods.
    • Proven track record in developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and business expansion.

    Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
