About the job

• The Head Fleet is responsible for improving the operational performance of all TSL fleet, while minimizing operational downtime and optimizing asset availability and usage across all regions within the country.
• He/she is also responsible for controlling, reducing and providing visibility on fleet operating costs and key fleet management indices that would aid business decisions on fleet acquisition, fleet operating condition and fleet disposal or conversion in line with business decisions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A good University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics/Transport Management or related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Fleet Management and the last three years should be in a management role.
• Proven track records of managing a large fleet size.
• Consistent achievement in the delivery of business mandates on fleet management.
• Experience in managing relationship with both internal and external stakeholders

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP

• A recognized certificate of professional competence in an appropriate discipline.
• Membership of an appropriate recognized professional body
