    Head Human Resources

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with theoverall businessstrategy
    • Provide reports on all areas of HR, Payroll, and Learning and Development, including the application of Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
    • Advise and strategize on developing effective employment policies across the company.
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
    • Nurture a positive working environment
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal systemthat drives high-performance
    • Develop and coordinate Business continuity and sustainability Plan • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics •          Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
    • Administration and provide reports on all areas of HR, Payroll, and Learning and Development, including the application of Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
    • Advise and strategize on the development of effective employment policies across the company.
    • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to HR staff, increase knowledge, share best practices, and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
    • Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures, and legislation.
    • Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areasof the HR department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Rewardand Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
    • Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
    • Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organizational culture, ensuring that the company values and approach are displayed.
    • Execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, businessstrategy, and commitments.
    • Regularly coach, mentor, and support senior and high-potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop andmaintain effective relationships, and encourage retention.
    • Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues.
    • Manages human resources software

    Capabilities and skills

    • Proven working experience as an HR Manager
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in HR, 3 years leading a team as HR manager
    • Professional certifications in HR (CIPD, CIPMN, GPHR, SPHRi, SHRM-CP/SCP)
    • People-oriented and results-driven
    • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics Knowledge ofHR systems and databases
    • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
    • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at alllevels of the company
    • Vast working knowledge of all HR departmental areas, including reward and recognition, welfare, learning, and development, as well as HR systems and budgets
    • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
    • Commercial acumen and experience in using metrics for driving performance. • A proactive attitude and a passion for leading with integrity.
    • Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner. •              A proactive and agile work ethic.
    • A curious mindset, to think innovatively and rationally about concerns and come up with creative solutions
    • Experience in managing a skilled teamand making quick but rational decisions.
    • Thorough and methodical attention to detail.
    • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and useyour initiative.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Commitment to be an inspiring role model who encourages collaboration.

    • Proficient I.T. skills.
    • The ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments.

    • Experience in determining, measuring, and analyzing relevant KPIs for incentive schemes.
