    Head of Administration

    Job Description:

    Our client located in ABUJA is looking for an experienced and highly organized Head of Administration to oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative operations of their company. As the Head of Administration, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient administrative support across departments, optimizing office processes, and leading key projects. You will work closely with senior management to implement administrative systems that improve workflow and ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administrative Leadership:

    • Lead and manage all administrative functions, including office management, facilities, supplies, and support services to ensure smooth operations.

    Team Management:

    • Oversee the administrative team, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure high productivity and effective collaboration.

    Process Optimization:

    • Analyze current administrative processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and productivity across the organization.

    Facilities Management:

    • Manage office space and facilities, ensuring that the work environment is well-maintained, safe, and conducive to productivity.

    Vendor and Contract Management:

    • Handle relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective service delivery.

    Compliance & Policy Development:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Develop and update administrative policies as necessary.

    Budgeting & Financial Oversight:

    • Assist in preparing and managing the administration budget, ensuring all expenditures are within limits and reporting on financial performance.

    Event Coordination:

    • Plan and execute company events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.

    Cross-Department Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other departments to provide administrative support and coordinate interdepartmental activities that improve overall workflow.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in an administrative leadership role, ideally as a Head of Administration or similar.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes that enhance operational efficiency.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Candidate must reside in Abuja
