    Head of Sales (Fintech)

    Job Description

    The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence. This role will involve leading the sales team, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the fintech or financial services sector and a passion for driving business growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s business goals. Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
    • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support team development.
    • Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed revenue targets through effective sales planning and execution. Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Adjust sales strategies accordingly to stay ahead in the market.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
    • Reporting & Analytics: Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the executive team. Use insights to refine sales strategies and improve outcomes.
    • Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and ROI analysis.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in fintech, financial services, or a similar industry.
    • 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, managing teams and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong understanding of fintech products, market trends, and customer needs.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic and results-driven mindset.
    • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
