    Human Resources Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking to hire candidates for the role of a Human Resources Manager in a fast-growing company that offers great benefits with opportunity to advance, learn and make a difference.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the day to day HR/Administrative functions across board.
    • Forecast hiring needs, particularly at peak seasons of the business.
    • Design and post job ads to attract qualified candidates for the work force both in junior and senior positions.
    • Calculate and report employee turnover rates (monthly, quarterly and annually) as when required.
    • Plan attractive compensation and benefits packages to increase retention.
    • Onboard and train new hires.
    • Track key recruiting metrics like cost-per-hire and source of hire.
    • Liaise with third party/ outsource agency where required in the recruitment process of some job roles however, subject to senior Management’s approval.
    • Develop performance evaluation programs such as staff appraisals and keeping track of important metrics.
    • Develop employee succession plan so as to bridge the man power gap in the business at all time.
    • Develop and review working documents containing processes and procedures so as to ensure a seamless business operations such as SOP’s, Employee Handbook etc
    • Custodian of the company’s rules and regulations to ensure orderliness and discipline is well adhered to by all employees regardless of the position.
    • Develop disciplinary metrics and effectively implement them where required without fear or favour.
    • Manage payroll considering overtime, flexible schedules and seasonal employment
    • Plan and coordinate trainings in line with the business needs.
    • Ensure grooming of employees is maintained.
    • Perform any other role as assigned by Senior Management.

    Requirements

    • Hands-on experience with sourcing and evaluating candidates for various seniority levels.
    • Good understanding of labor legislation including regulations about flexible types of employment.
    • Knowledge of payroll systems and HR databases.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solvingskillsKnowledgeable about EHS policies etc.
    • BSc / HND in Business Administration, Political Science and any other related fileld discipline
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role
    • Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage industry (Added advantage)
    • Proximity to Ikeja environment (Added advantage).
