    Human Resources Officer

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Ensure effective manpower planning and monitor staffing levels across all the company outlets
    • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc)
    • Overseeing the maintenance of employee files and the HR filing system.
    • Answer questions/queries in relation to training and provide high-quality customer service-related matters across the organization
    • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs on appropriate job boards and social media
    • Source and screen resumes; coordinate and participate in interview schedules
    • Receives and reviews applications, manages interviews and tests, and creates a shortlist of candidates.
    • Ensure effective staff rotation and deployment across all company outlets
    • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
    • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts, end to end.
    • Provide feedback to applicants on the results of the selection process and prepare job offers
    • Participate in new hire orientation and coordinate new hire training in conjunction with the department managers.
    • Prepare and provide employment contracts to successful candidates
    • Implement and communicate human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines which will include topics such as health and safety and training.
    • Communicate employment requirements and conditions to interested candidates
    • Participate in handling workplace investigations, and disciplinary, and termination procedures.
    • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution

    Qualifications

    • First Degree / Master degree in any relevant course of study with a minimum qualification of Second Class Lower.
    • Experience: 3-5 years
    • The ideal candidates must be based within this location.

    The ideal candidates must also be conversant with the following:

    • Basic knowledge of Recruitment and Selection, Training and development
    • Finance house operations, policies and procedures, products, and services
    • Good knowledge of the Nigeria Labour Law
    • Business development and acquisition
    • Knowledge of current business trends and CBN Regulatory laws.

    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Excellent Communication skills (written and oral)
    • Leadership and negotiation skills
    • Good Relationship management skills

    • Team player with ability to work under pressure and ability to work with a wide variety of people and maintain excellent business relationship
