Information Technology Manager at Design Union

A real estate development group of companies with corporate office in Lekki, Lagos requires the services of the below professional:

JOB SUMMARY

• Management of Information Technology Infrastructure, Communication / telecommunications and Application Services, Coordinating and supervising all activities as the first point of contact, for all Systems configuration, Installation and Maintenance (Hardware Support, Hardware Maintenance, Software deployment and Support for core application, operating systems, business systems implementation and Networking) in all Company Office facilities and Buildings and providing first level technical support to users.
• Management of 3rd Party Information Technology Service Providers and ensuring contracts, Service Level Agreements are in place for all IT business relationships, advancing the company's position.
• Safeguarding the Company records by implementing Data Protection and back-up operations in all Company Office facilities and Buildings.
• Implementation of an Information Technology Business Continuity Plan to facilitate continuity of business operations in the event of a major disruption of operations.
• Advice Management on developments in the IT environment which may affect the company's interests and operations, Identify risks and make recommendations to management on how to prevent / mitigate such risks.
• Establish the company's Information Technology policies and implement Best Practices, provide guidance and support to staff and promote compliance by all staff.
• Create and maintain effective internal controls for IT consumables and ensure timely purchase of IT consumables and distribution to requesting departments

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• B.sc  (1st Class or 2nd Class) Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering  or any other related Social Sciences plus certification in Computer courses’
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar position
