    Insurance Ratail Salesperson

    • We're on the lookout for a dynamic Insurance Ratail Salesperson to join our team and play a vital role in expanding our business.
    • This is a full-time Senior Retail Salesperson role.
    • As a Senior Retail Salesperson, you will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including product knowledge, retail sales, communication, customer service, and achieving sales targets.
    • This is a hybrid role, with the main work location in Lagos but flexibility for some remote work.
    • Your main task will be to actively seek out and acquire new clients by understanding their needs and preferences, and effectively selling insurance products that meet those requirements.
    • Our goal is to build strong client relationships, drive business growth, and enhance our company's reputation.
    • You will be responsible for selling the company's annuity for life pensions options to newly retired and existing retirees from private companies, state, and federal government organizations currently on program withdrawal.
    • Rigorously prospect in all multinational submissions of proposals within the state with the purpose of selling the company's investment-linked products and pure protection plans.

    Responsibilities:

    • Product Knowledge and Retail Sales skills
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Proven track record in sales
    • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones.
    • Enaging potential clients through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other avenues to establish rapport.
    • Assess the insurance needs of both individuals and businesses and recommend appropriate protection plans.
    • Collect relevant information from clients to tailor solutions based on their risk profiles.
    • Prepare reports for stakeholders to monitor the success of business initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate records of transactions, sales, and contractual terms.
    • Verify insurance claims to maintain trust and uphold our reputation.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and apply relevant knowledge.
    • Strictly adhere to all company-established policy obligations.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
    • NCE, OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proven experience in providing client-focused solutions and building lasting relationships.
