Intern Accountant (Corps Member) at Seamless Travels And Tours

SeamlessTravels and Tours is a leading Omni-channel travel agency in Africa based in Lagos, Nigeria. We seek to hire a corps member as an intern with our Account department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Assist with month-end financial reports
• Post journal entries
• Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation
• Assist with audits
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Collaborate with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts
• Manage monthly tracking of physical inventory
• Support the payment processing team
• Perform credit checks
• Assist with data entry
• Give daily Reports on MIS

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Accounting major
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Aptitude for mathematics/ Statistics 
• Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferably residing on the island or close by location
