Junior Account Officer at Excel Charis Pharmaceutical Chemical Limited

Responsiblities

• Provide support to the account department
• Assist to post and process customer invoice accurately on accounting software
• Accurately recording of cash in the cash received register from the sales representatives
• Assist to track and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Track and Proper filing of account department documents such as evidence of bank lodgement, invoices, requisition sheets e.t.c
• Assist in accurately and timely processing and reconciliation of petty cash
• Assist in calling of customers to confirm balances
• Lodgement of payment
• Monitor and resolve bank issues
• Assist in preparation offinancial statement, business activity reports, andforecasts
• Posting of weekly sales report on the whatsapp group chat
• Assist in the preparation of budgeting, forecasting and planning process
• Assist in weekly and monthly reconciliation of office expenses.
• React in a timely manner if the information is not accurate
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
• Ensure adequate recording of transaction in books of accounts like cash book, ledger, e.t.c.
• Ensure adherence policies and procedure
• Every other assistance as maybe required by the Head of department and Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Candidates must have proven (1-3) years work experience in accounting or other analytical role
• Proficiency in all of the programs of Tally/ any accounting software and excellent knowledge of MS office, Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skillsStrong organisational and time management skills.
