Junior Accountant at Louis Valentino Nigeria Limited

Position Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Help reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and file sales tax and other regulatory filings.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with payroll and tax regulations.
