The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist will enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. The role holder will collaborate with team leads and respective stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals, stay updated on industry trends to improve programs, and provide employee support and coaching. Their role is vital in fostering a culture of continuous learning and contributing to organizational success.
Job Details
Design and Develop Training Programs:
- Tailor programs to organizational needs.
- Create and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning content.
- Embrace various training methods (in-person, online, blended).
Conduct and Oversee Training Sessions:
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
- Provide coaching and support to help employees apply new skills.
Assess and Monitor Training Effectiveness:
- Evaluate training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data.
- Monitor and assess program effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
Align Training with Organizational Goals:
- Collaborate with department heads, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Ensure training initiatives align with organizational objectives and goals.
Manage Resources and Budgets:
- Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
- Optimize resources to deliver quality training within budget constraints.
Stay Updated and Implement Best Practices:
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement in training programs.
Develop and Optimize Talent Management Initiatives:
- Design and manage leadership, employee development, and talent management initiatives.
- Address performance gaps and promote a high-performance working culture.
Establish and Track Goals:
- Set clear, measurable goals using financial and quantitative data.
- Prepare and present strategies for learning, development, and performance management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Learning and Development, training, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms and training software.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the technology industry trends and best practices
