Loan Officers (Microfinance Bank) at iRecruiters Africa Limited

• This role will typically involve evaluating the financial status of the loan applicant, updating account records, reviewing loan files, and authorizing the approval of business, real estate, or credit loans.
• The ideal candidate for this role must have a solid experience in the microfinance space or credit industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing of customers to access the company’s products and services
• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
• Selling financial services and loans to customers based on their needs and qualifications
• Booking of loans and ensuring repayment Providing necessary information for clients who want to apply for loans
• Collecting necessary documents needed for loan applications
• Verify information about the applicants history with credit bureaus and other agencies so the loan can either be denied or approved.
• Verify the information provided on applications to obtain more information if missing data or mistakes are present.
• Remain aware of loan application deadlines and inform customers about them Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of HND in Finance, Business, or any related discipline.
• CIBM will be an added advantage
• 2-5 years of experience in the micro-finance space
• Solid knowledge of microfinance banks.
• Software and, and its products Tech-Savy with hands-on experience working with a banking application
• Customer service oriented and exceptional sales skills to sell loan processing services to customers/clients.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills Exceptional communication skills
