Loan Recovery Officer at TalentPool Nigeria

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Brief

• We are looking to recruit a candidate that will provide support to the organization with particular emphasis on the collection of outstanding loan repayments.
• The hired candidate will be responsible for engaging with consumers over the phone, establishing payment schedules with debtors and implementing debt-reduction initiatives.
• To be a successful loan recovery officer, you should have prior debt collection expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact the consumers and advise them of past-due debts.
• Contact and track customers and inform them of their overdue loans.
• Advise customers on their payment options and negotiate suitable payment plans.
• Follow up with clients on previous payment arrangements.
• Maintain customer payment records.
• Advise customers on their payment options and recommend payment alternatives.
• Negotiate reasonable payment schedules.
• Keep track of customer payments.
• Reporting daily progress against targets to the Team Leader.

Key Requirements

• The potential candidate should possess a B.Sc or its equivalent from any related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Computer Operation.
• Experienced in repayment tracking and loan collection
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and Word skills
• Excellent Communication Skills.

Working Hours 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

• One hour break at noon Work every Monday - Saturday.
• We have a standard promotion and salary increase plan.
