    Logistics Officer

    Job Summary

    • A Logistics Officer in the automobile industry is responsible for managing the movement and distribution of automotive parts, vehicles, and related materials.
    • This role involves coordinating logistics operations, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

    Responsibilities:
    Supply Chain Management:

    • Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.

    Inventory Control:

    • Monitor and manage inventory levels for automotive parts and materials.
    • Implement efficient inventory control practices to minimize excess stock and stock-outs.

    Distribution Planning:

    • Plan and organize the distribution of automotive products to dealerships, service centers, and other destinations.
    • Optimize delivery routes and schedules to maximize efficiency.

    Shipping and Transportation:

    • Arrange and coordinate transportation services for the shipment of vehicles, parts, and materials.
    • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and manage relationships with logistics providers.

    Documentation:

    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and transportation activities.
    • Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications
    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years work Experience.

    Technical Skills:

    • Familiarity with logistics and inventory management software.
    • Knowledge of transportation modes, customs procedures, and shipping regulations.

    Analytical Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics processes.
    • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

    Communication Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics providers.
    • Good with Excel.
