Low Bed Driver at Agbeyewa Farms

We are looking to hire a reliable and well-experienced Low Bed driver to join our capable team of professionals.

To be successful in this role, the Low Bed Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy agricultural machinery and equipment using a lowbed trailer. This role requires a skilled driver with experience in handling oversized loads, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Job Description

Transportation of Equipment:

• Safely load, transport, and unload heavy agricultural machinery and equipment using a lowbed trailer.
• Ensure proper securing of equipment to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for transportation, taking into account road conditions and regulations.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

Operational Efficiency:

• Coordinate with the logistics or operations team to schedule and prioritize transportation tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years driving lowbed trailer or any similar heavy-duty vehicles
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating lowbed trailers.
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift and secure heavy equipment.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Excellent communication Skill.
