    M&E Assistant

    BACKGROUND

    A Community-Based Healthcare Organization in Lagos is looking to hire an M&E Assistant/Officer for the growing needs of a project under a grant for community healthcare services for TB implementation of the project in several LGAs in the State; therefore, we seek to hire a Full-Time M&E Assistant/Officer for an ASAP resumption to support the team. 

    ROLES AND PURPOSE

    • Support the program team to develop M&E frameworks within the work plan guidelines.
    • Collect, clean, analyze interpret, and manage program data for observations, performance, and recommendations for improvements for progress toward annual work plans, and expected outputs, including selecting and monitoring progress in meeting indicators.
    • Give full support to the program team, both field, and admin, to provide timely analyzed data to donors and for timely completion of data analysis with visuals, required for writing required monthly summaries, and quarterly, semiannual, and annual reports.
    • Supervise data officers and provide training on M&E requirements for the project team to ensure all team members are aware of their roles in data management.
    • Design comprehensive data management protocol and standards of operation for all organization projects.
    • Develop and actively monitor activity budgets with the accounts team.
    • Contribute to proposal business development activities and grant applications.
    • Represent the organization at meetings with the ability to do presentations on organization data achievements.
    • Must have programmatic knowledge of tuberculosis control and of HIV/AIDS.
    • Must be able to work collaboratively with communities, partners, and donors, and at the local, state, and federal government levels.
    • Ensure the compilation of standard reports for all program activities promptly.
    • General knowledge of local, state, and federal government healthcare practices.
    • Knowledgeable about local community cultures, leaders, customs, and practices, with the willingness to integrate and learn in new terrains.
    • Proficiency using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), especially in Excel is a must-have.
    • Experience using EPI-Info, Stata, SPSS, Kobo Collect, DHIS, and Google Maps will be taken into consideration.
    • Salary is competitive and negotiable but commensurate with experience and educational background.
    • At least three years of experience developing and implementing M&E plans, including frameworks, budget, data quality assurance, and data use strategies, and providing M&E training.
