    Medical Sales Representative

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for experienced Medical Sales Representatives to be the key points of contact between the organization and healthcare professionals, promoting a range of ophthalmic solutions and generating sales leads.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as company brand ambassadors in the assigned fields of operation
    • Provide product information and deliver product samples
    • Attain customer feedback regarding product use experience and relay it to superiors
    • Communicate with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe products, utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis
    • Organize appointments and meetings with hospital-based healthcare staff to promote, sell, or receive feedback on products
    • Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, and symposiums
    • Identify and establish new business opportunities to increase company sales
    • Keep detailed records of all contacts
    • Work with the sales team to develop and implement brand strategies ensuring consistent marketing messages
    • Plan work schedules and weekly/monthly timetables with the area sales team or discuss future targets with the area sales manager
    • Write reports and other documents, giving feedback received from customers
    • Take orders from customers

    Minimum Qualification / Requirements

    • University graduate with a science background (e.g., Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Chemistry, or Biological Sciences)
    • 1-3 years of work experience as a Medical Sales Representative or a similar role
    • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and the latest medical issues
    • Knowledge of MS Office
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of the territory
    • Excellent teamwork and networking skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
    • Strong negotiation and selling skills
    • Ability to travel frequently
    • Knowledge of marketing strategies is an added advantage
