    Monitoring & Evaluation Lead

    Position Overview:

    The Monitoring & Evaluation Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation systems to assess the outcomes and impact of our cluster skill training programs. This role involves developing comprehensive frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to enhance program effectiveness and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Design and Implement M&E Systems:

    • Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks that align with program objectives and organizational goals.
    • Implement data collection tools and methodologies to capture relevant indicators and outcomes.

    Data Collection and Analysis:

    • Oversee the collection of qualitative and quantitative data through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other methods.
    • Analyze data to assess program impact, identify trends, and make recommendations for program improvement.

    Reporting and Communication:

    • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on program performance, presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Communicate M&E results effectively, translating complex data into actionable insights for diverse audience.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure the quality and integrity of M&E data through regular audits and verification exercises.
    • Collaborate with program teams to address any identified gaps and challenges.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
    • 5-7years experience in designing and implementing M&E systems for development programs, preferably in the youth empowerment sector.
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills using relevant software.
    • Familiarity with cluster skill training programs and issues related to youth empowerment in Nigeria.
    • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
    • Experienced use of Data analytics tool for evaluations.
