    National Sales Manager

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • We are looking to hire National Sales Managers who will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations within a specified region.
    • This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing dealership relationships, and driving sales performance to meet or exceed targets.
    • The ideal candidate must have excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong background and experience in automobile sales is mandatory.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

    • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to maximize and achieve sales targets and business objectives within the assigned territory or dealership.
    • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform sales strategies.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure effective coordination and alignment of sales and marketing initiatives.
    • Monitor and capitalize on market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales and growth.

    Dealership Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership managers and sales teams.
    • Provide guidance and support to dealerships to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure dealerships adhere to company policies, standards, and procedures.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and other stakeholders.
    • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.

    Team Leadership and Performance Monitoring:

    • Set clear sales targets and provide regular performance feedback for the sales team, and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
    • Foster a positive, motivating team, and results-driven work environment.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the sales performance and strategic initiatives.

    Financial Management:

    • Manage regional sales budgets and expenses.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial efficiency.
    • Prepare and present financial reports, sales forecasts, and performance analysis.

    JOB SPECIFIACTION:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Extensive experience of over 15 years in sales management, with at least 10 years in a managerial role.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in a regional or territory-based sales role.

    Essential Skills:

    • Strategic planning: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
    • Strong understanding of dealership operations, sales processes, and customer service.

    • Budget-management skills and proficiency.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and build relationships with dealers, customers and stakeholders.
    • Proficient in the use of sales management tools and technologies, such as MS Office and CRM systems, sales forecasting, and performance reporting.
    • Experience in sales, in the automobile industry is mandatory.
