Nursing Manager at South Shore Women's Clinic

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide nurses in providing quality patient care to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Evaluate patient care activities and recommend improvements.
• Review nursing team to determine strengths and weaknesses and suggest training needs.
• Ensure that antenatal classes are conducted to required standards.
• Actively involved in weekly clinical meetings and presenting at meetings with Doctor(s).
• Works with the Quality Assurance Officer to ensure processes are followed judiciously.
• Ensure seamless patient discharge process without delay.
• Ensure patient waiting times are reduced with prompt responsiveness.
• Plan and schedule Monthly ROTAs and daily work for nursing staff.
• Supervise and monitor performance of each nurse and provide feedback.
• Assist in candidate recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion, and termination activities.
• Schedule orientation and training programs for newly hired nurses.
• Ensure general patient care and satisfaction.
