    Nursing Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Nursing Officer provides high-quality care to patients in the form of treatments and dispensing medications as directed by the physician.
    • The job holder also assists in setting up care plan for the patients, administering drugs, taking and monitoring vital signs and changing dressings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily nursing operations and coordinate patient care activities.
    • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Handle patient concerns and complaints effectively, striving to resolve issues promptly.

    The Person

    • Must be a registered nurse.
    • Current practicing license.
    • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
    • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
    • Must reside in Ughelli & it’s environs.

    Remuneration
    Salary in line with industry standard.
