    Partnership and Fundraising Manager

    Job Overview

    Bethesda Child Support Foundation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Partnership and Fundraising Manager to lead our resource mobilization efforts. The individual will play a pivotal role in securing and managing partnerships with public and private sector organizations, developing sustainable fundraising strategies, and ensuring that funds are raised to support our mission of providing quality education and life-changing opportunities to underserved children. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to non-profit work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet the financial needs of the Foundation.
    • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities from corporations, foundations, government agencies, and individuals.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate partners, institutional donors, and other stakeholders.
    • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s goals and values.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and capitalize on new partnership opportunities.
    • Develop and execute donor engagement plans, including regular communication and reporting on the impact of their contributions.
    • Organize fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors.
    • Manage the donor database to ensure accurate records of contributions and donor relations.
    • Prepare grant proposals, reports, and other documentation to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Monitor grant compliance and provide detailed reports to donors on the impact of their contributions.
    • Oversee the fundraising budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and transparency in financial reporting.
    • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and allocation of funds raised.
    • Monitor the performance of fundraising campaigns and partnerships, providing regular updates and making recommendations for improvement.
    • Report on income targets and provide analysis on fundraising trends, challenges, and opportunities.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Marketing, Communications, or related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in partnership management, fundraising, and donor relations, preferably in the non-profit sector.
    • Proven track record in securing funds from corporations, foundations, and international donors.
    • Experience in developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
    • Knowledge of grant writing and reporting.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and public speaking.
    • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to network with corporate partners, donors, and stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
    • Digital competency with familiarity in online fundraising platforms.
    • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
    • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
    • Passion for non-profit work, particularly in the area of child education and support.
