Presales Engineer - Email API at Infytel Communications

Role Description

• The Presales Engineer for Email API is pivotal in supporting the sales team and prospective clients throughout the sales process.
• This role involves understanding client requirements, designing tailored solutions using the company's email API products, and demonstrating the value and capabilities of these solutions to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of the company's email API products, including their features, benefits, and practical applications.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and competitor offerings.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to comprehend customer needs and specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Address technical inquiries and issues raised by customers during the sales process.
• Work alongside customers to craft customized solutions that align with their specific requirements using the company's email API products.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals, including technical specifications and integration strategies.
• Assist customers in developing and executing PoCs to illustrate the feasibility and advantages of proposed solutions.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance and guidance throughout the PoC phase.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine and develop effective sales strategies and tactics.
• Contribute to the creation of sales materials, such as technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studies.
• Assist in preparing responses for RFPs/RFIs, focusing on technical content.
• Deliver training sessions to internal sales teams and external partners on the company's email API products.
• Develop and maintain technical training resources and documentation.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to inform future product enhancements and features.
• Identify and communicate potential new business opportunities based on customer needs and market insights.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Presales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role, preferably in the SaaS or API industry.
• Strong understanding of email protocols, API integrations, and related technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SMTP, IMAP, and related email technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
