    Product Manager/Business Intelligence Specialist

    Position Overview:

    The Product Manager/Business Intelligence professional will play a crucial role in a strategic communications company by driving the development, implementation, and optimization of data-driven products and solutions. The role requires a blend of product management, business intelligence, data analytics, and strategic thinking to enhance the company's offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.

    As a Product Manager/Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play a critical role in our client's company. Here are some of the key responsibilities and roles that you have:

    Product Manager Roles:

    1. Strategic Vision and Product Development
      • Product Vision: Ensure that product aligns with our client’s vision to transforms ideas, industries and nations through growth-accelerating platforms.
      • Product Roadmap: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap for our platforms.
      • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand user needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Use these insights to guide product development.
      • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
    2. Cross-functional Leadership
      • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, design, and engineering to ensure successful product delivery.
      • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and manage expectations.
      • Agile Methodologies: Implement and promote agile methodologies to enhance flexibility and responsiveness in product development.
    3. User Experience and Engagement
      • User-Centered Design: Advocate for user-centered design principles to create intuitive, engaging, and effective products.
      • Feedback Loop: Establish a robust feedback loop with users to continuously improve the product based on real-world usage and feedback.
      • Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to identify pain points and optimize the user experience.
      • Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics to drive product decisions, validate hypotheses, and refine product strategies.
    4. Performance Metrics and Reporting
      • KPIs and Analytics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact.

      • Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on product performance, user engagement, and market trends.

    Business Intelligence Specialist Roles:

    1. Data Management and Integration
      • Data Collection: Design and implement efficient data collection processes to gather relevant information from multiple sources.
      • Data Warehousing: Manage data warehousing solutions to store, process, and retrieve large volumes of data efficiently.
      • Data Integration: Integrate data from various internal and external sources to provide a comprehensive view of business performance.
    2. Advanced Analytics and Insights
      • Data Analysis: Perform advanced data analysis to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that inform business strategies.
      • Predictive Modeling: Develop predictive models to forecast future trends, customer behaviors, and market conditions.
      • Reporting and Visualization: Create insightful reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders and support data-driven decision making.
    3. Strategic Decision Support
      • Business Strategy Alignment: Ensure that business intelligence efforts are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
      • Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities, market gaps, and potential areas for growth through data analysis.
      • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark against industry standards and identify differentiators.
    4. Performance Optimization
      • Operational Efficiency: Use data insights to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
      • Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to enhance understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behavior.
      • ROI Measurement: Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of various initiatives and campaigns to ensure effective allocation of resources

    By fulfilling these roles, the Product Manager and Business Intelligence Specialist will play a critical part in advancing our client’s vision to connect users with the right content, products, audiences, and customers, thereby helping businesses scale globally.

    Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
    2. 5+ years of experience in product management and business intelligence, preferably within the communications or tech industry.
    3. Proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle.
    4. Strong experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

    Skills and Competencies:

    1. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive product success and business growth.
    2. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
    3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    4. Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
    5. Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    6. Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet those needs.

    Technical Proficiency:

    1. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
    2. Experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    3. Familiarity with product management software (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
