Product Manager at Descasio - Nigeria

Job Description:

• As a Technical Product Manager for our no-code automation platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our suite of products, especially our no-code automation platform.
• You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, defining product vision, and working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver world-class products. Your technical expertise and strategic mindset will be crucial in driving the products’ success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research to identify market opportunities and customer needs to inform product direction.
• Conduct user research, surveys, and usability testing to validate product ideas and features.
• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Work closely with the engineering team and other stakeholders to prioritize features, plan releases, and ensure timely delivery.
• Translate customer feedback and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
• Provide technical product knowledge and support to sales and customer success teams
• Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success.
• Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to inform future development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the SaaS space.
• Strong technical background with an understanding of software development processes and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with APIs and integrations.
• Experience with data analysis tools and metrics.
• Proficiency in writing user documentation and creating training materials.
• Knowledge of design principles and user interface (UI) best practices.
