    Product Manager-- POS Acquiring, Collections & Disbursement.

    Job Summary

    The ARCA Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation and growth, conduct market research to identify opportunities and generate product requirements, lead the development and execution of innovative financial products and solutions, determining specifications, production timelines, pricing, and integrated plans for product launches. Additionally, the Product Manager will develop effective marketing strategies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all products meet market needs, comply with regulatory requirements, and align with the company’s strategic goals.

    Job Details

    Product Vision & Strategy

    • Gain a deep understanding of ARCA’s product requirements and from that create the long-term vision and strategy for the Company’s products 
    • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
    • Conduct user experience research to identify and specify market requirements for current and future products.
    •  Analyse product, market, and customer risks, and develop mitigation plans.

    Market Analysis

    •  Determine ARCA’s customers’ needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
    •  Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
    • Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
    • Obtains ARCA product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
    • Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
    • Create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) for new initiatives or enhancements that drive business growth.

    Product Management

    • Manage product development from concept, to design, sample production, testing, launch, promotion, support, and finally product end-of-life 
    • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact 
    • Work closely with the technology team to deliver on roadmap deadlines and drive product launches 
    • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding 
    • Responsible for project issues management, escalation management and change management 
    • Follows up on internal and external dependencies required for project delivery to ensure timely delivery of projects 
    • Identify and track key success metrics for all product features to ensure data-driven decisions.
    • Prioritize growth levers, including developing new features, optimizing existing ones, and driving acquisition/retention through experimentation.

    Reporting

    • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests.
    • Manage Project Close-out by preparing Project Acceptance Certificate (PAC) to customers to sign off accepting the project had been completed.

    Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to gather feedback and insights that inform product decisions.
    • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables.
    • Lead product launches in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.

    Customer Focus

    • Engage with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback to refine product offerings.
    • Champion the voice of the customer within Arca Payments to ensure a customer-centric approach.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, IT, or a related field (a master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management within the payments or fintech industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of the payments ecosystem, POS acquiring, payment switching and processing, product requirements development and analysis, payment collections and disbursement—particularly in the public sector, with substantial experience in government-related financial systems, as well as in the private sector—having a deep understanding of how payments are routed, settled, and processed in compliance with regulations.
    • Proven track record of successful product development and management.
    • Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting data to drive product decisions.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative working environment.
    • Relevant certifications in product management, project management, or payments technology are advantageous.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to evolving business needs and market dynamics.
    • A creative thinker passionate about innovation and staying updated with industry trends and emerging payment technologies.
    • A proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges, demonstrating resilience in overcoming obstacles.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with strong influencing skills to motivate and inspire teams toward a common goal.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to foresee market trends and align product strategies with business objectives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
    • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
    • Good skills to coach team how to follow agile scrum, which really works.
    • Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
    • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
