Job Description

• Ability to prepare a wide range of international and local cuisines, and develop menus that cater to diverse preferences and dietary requirements
• Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a hygienic and sanitary condition, and comply with safety standards and regulations
• Maintain an organized and clean kitchen environment, and manage inventory levels of ingredients and cooking supplies
• Implement measures to minimize food waste, such as proper portioning and storage of ingredients, and creative use of leftovers
• Collaborate with the employer to develop menus that meet their preferences, budget, and dietary requirements
• Demonstrate expertise in culinary techniques and creativity in preparing dishes that are visually appealing, flavorful, and consistently meet high standards of quality."
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure that there are no interruptions in food preparation and service.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND qualification with at least 5 years experience.
• Proven work experience as a professional cook
• Must be able to work without supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Well composed, honest and God fearing
