QA/QC Civil Engineer at Hitech Construction Company Limited

Job Description:

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Civil Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to join our team.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in road construction, bridges, and piling and practical knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• This role will be based across project sites in Lagos State and Ogun State.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections for road construction, bridges and piling projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications in geotechnical and concrete.
• Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and address any potential quality issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, test results, and reports.
• Utilize AutoCAD for design reviews and modifications, as needed.
• Prepare and analyze data using Microsoft Excel to track project progress and quality metrics.

Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in a QA/QC or civil engineering role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel between project sites in Lagos and Ogun State.
