    Quality Assurance Manager

    Orange Group is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for our Onitsha factory, to coordinate and manage all aspects of GMP Operations, QMS and Total Quality Management including but not limited to Audits, Product Complaints and Recalls, Plant Validation program, approval of departmental quality documents, Protocols, S.O.Ps, batch release approvals, policies etc., and to ensure compliance with GMP in all aspects of factory operations.

     Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Preferred). B.Sc. Life sciences. 
    • At least 8 years of work experience in quality assurance and control with at least one (3) year of experience in a managerial role. 
    • A good knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices. 
    • Formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures. 
    • Lead the team to perform non-standard quality tests and document data and test results. 
    • Implement the operating criteria for laboratory equipment and materials used for testing products, packaging, and manufacturing processes to ensure safety and quality standards are followed. 
    • Performing regular audits of departments and production lines to ensure they comply with company standards. 
    • Evaluating and recommending alternative procedures for auditing to ensure the company continues to improve 
    • Supervise product testing to ensure procedure accuracy. 
    • Follow up with implemented programs (GMPs, Good Hygiene Practices, Cleaning and Sanitation, Equipment Calibration, etc.) to ensure compliance by all employees and other personnel in the manufacturing facility. 
    • Ensure good performance by quality assurance technicians by mentoring, training, setting expectations, providing accountability, and performing evaluations
