    Quality Assurance Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • To coordinate all activities in the quality control laboratory.
    • To ensure the processes of inward, in-process and finished goods are meeting the internal specifications and customer specifications.
    • To give the product board composition with weight as per customer specification to marketers.
    • Ensuring necessary documentation and data analysis through the preparation of monthly report.
    • Ensuring proper management and motivation of department workforce through proper acknowledgement of their accomplishment and giving credit as and when due.
    • Ensuring proper supervision of department staff’s responsibility as per SOP and job description.
    • To ensure good housekeeping within the quality control department and close co-ordination with the HSE & Plant manager to maintain the safety policies and plant sanitization.
    • To carry out other duties that may be assigned by GMD/Technical & Operational Director & Marketing Director of the company.
    • To attend customer complaints and to take corrective and preventive actions
    • Investigating customer complaints and preparing CAPA.
    • Organizing weekly quality meeting to educate the corrective actions and preventive measures as well as to ensure the proper communications of the internal and external issues.
    • Design, implement, and improve company quality standards.
    • Analyze data in order to find areas for growth.
    • Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met.
    • Co-ordination with the marketing and fulfil the customer requirement
    • New job & new product development including the customer machine run ability trials & product stability trials co-ordination with the marketing team.
    • Strive to reduce customer complaints, Internal rejections and process deviations.
    • Implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2015(QMS), SEDEX, URSA & SON MANCAP and conducting the internal audits, MRM and Training sessions.
    • Handling the customer audits and ensuring the timely close outs of the audit findings.

    Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
    • Institute of packaging (a six-sigma yellow, green belt would be an advantage).
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in packaging industry.
    • Experience of manufacturing operations, CI / Process Improvement with minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality head with no less than 30 employees.
    • Experience in managing ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 (or equivalent quality standards) would be an advantage.
    • Very good command over English with good computer skills.
    • Should have good communication and presentation skills, Dynamic, result oriented and possessing excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Previous experience in Packaging (corrugators, converting) industries is compulsory
