Quality Assurance (QA) Tester at Formplus

Job Description

• As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring our industry-leading online form builder application's quality, functionality, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated tests, to identify bugs and defects in the Formplus application.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts*using tools like Selenium to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform API testing*to ensure seamless integration between Formplus and external systems.
• Test across various browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure consistent functionality and performance.
• Report bugs and defects using a ticketing system, providing clear and concise descriptions with reproducible steps.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues from a QA perspective.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies, automation testing tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing QA processes, with a focus on incorporating automation.

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably with SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on QA.
• Experience with manual and exploratory testing techniques.
• Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium)*is a plus.
• Experience with API testing*is a plus.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and reporting methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
