    Receptionist

    Job Summary:

    As a Dental Receptionist at Advanced Dental Clinic, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a welcoming and supportive environment. Your role will involve managing the front desk, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth operation of dental services. We are looking for an organized, friendly, and professional individual who can uphold our clinic\'s standards of excellent patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Patient Interaction:

    •   Greet patients warmly and assist them as they check in and check out.
    •   Answer incoming calls promptly and provide information regarding services.
    •   Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, managing the dentist’s calendar effectively.

     Administrative Tasks:

    •   Maintain accurate patient records, including personal details and treatment histories.
    •   Ensure the front desk area is organized and maintained in a hygienic manner.
    •   Process patient information and collect payments, issuing receipts and insurance forms as necessary.

    Communication:

    •   Liaise between patients, dentists, and dental assistant  to streamline communication.
    •   Inform patients of preand post-treatment instructions as advised by dental professionals.

    Insurance Processing:

    •   Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with claim forms.
    •   Maintain knowledge of dental insurance procedures and updates.

    Office Management:

    •   Manage office supplies and reorder stock when necessary, ensuring the clinic is always stocked with essential materials.
    •   Handle emergency situations promptly and professionally.

    Patient Education:

    •   Provide general information to patients about dental procedures and services offered by the clinic.
    •   Encourage patients to maintain regular dental visits for optimal oral health.

    Qualifications:

    • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent; additional qualifications in healthcare or administration are a plus.
    • Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred but not required.
    • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
