    Research Volunteer

    Position Overview:

    • We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Research Volunteer to join our team.
    • The Research Volunteer will support our efforts by conducting research on various topics related to peacebuilding, school violence prevention, and child safeguarding.
    • This role is crucial in helping us develop evidence-based programs and advocate for effective policies.

    Commitment:

    • Minimum of 15 hours per week

    Duration:

    • 6 months (with possibility of extension)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct literature reviews and compile research findings on topics related to peacebuilding, school violence, and child safeguarding.
    • Analyze data and summarize key insights to inform program development and advocacy efforts.
    • Assist in the development of research reports, policy briefs, and other publications.
    • Support the team in identifying and evaluating best practices and innovative approaches in peacebuilding and violence prevention.
    • Collaborate with team members to design and implement research projects.
    • Maintain accurate records of research activities and ensure data integrity.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in social sciences, international relations, peace and conflict studies, education, or a related field.
    • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods is a plus.
    • Passion for peacebuilding, child protection, and social justice.
