    School Nurse

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of students and staff, providing basic medical care, and managing health records.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including first aid, emergency care, and management of chronic conditions.
    • Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify health issues and provide appropriate interventions.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
    • Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with special health needs.
    • Monitor and control the spread of communicable diseases within the school.
    • Educate students, staff, and parents on health and wellness topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and external healthcare providers to support student health and well-being.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of school health policies and procedures.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nigeria.
    • Diploma degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
    • Experience in Paediatric or School Nursing is preferred.
    • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
    • Strong clinical and assessment skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Strong organizational and time Management skills.
    • Proficiency in using health-related Software and Technology.
