Security Guards Recruitment Officer at Halogen Group

• The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for the timely recruitment of suitable operatives into the academy and proper management of the employment/ deployment requirements by providing timely information to aid seamless Manned Guarding Operations and Service delivery.

Recruitment & Selection

• Scout for candidates for recruitment into the Training Academy
• Conduct recruitment test for security cadets
• Screen credentials
• Employs only suitable candidates
• Check malpractices and impersonation in the written exams’ session
• Participates actively in the interview and selection process of candidates
• Ensures all security cadets pass through induction before graduation
• Responsible for poaching of guards for urgent deployment
• Organizes recruitment and training of cadets for long distant locations and all information on the recruitment including operatives’ guard’s information are forwarded to the deployment office not later than a week after the exercise.

HR Operations

• Conduct periodic surveys or research on company’s competitors to aid the company’ and HR strategy development
• Identify resourcing issues, building manpower plans for AOR; coordinating workforce supply and demand, replacements, recruitments and retentions
• Provide training support to the companies’ Training Academy and be prepared to lecture on security modules when the need arises in AOR
• Working in partnership with Training Academy, PSS units, to provide support and manage employee relations issues that may affect recruitment and retention operatives.
• Working in partnership with the HR deployment and other HR functions to ensure quality services are delivered to guards the will improve retention and reduce guards turnover are delivered to employees in AOR
• Implement approved company’s SOP for recruitment and selection of cadets.

Public Relations

• Establish relationship with Recruitment Agents, NGOs, Churches, Mosques, Employment Bureau and Local Government arms that are responsible for human development
• Distribution of recruitment fliers to the public
• Have good information on our competitors anywhere our guards are deployed.
