Senior Accountant at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

Duties

• Manage all export proceeds account – accuracy of instructions given for all NXPs
• Management of NXPs for export
• Preparation and recording of all FX instructions
• Process and pay all FX transactions, ensuring that transaction details are correct.
• Raise invoices in accordance with contractual terms and company policies and present the invoices for HOT approval
• Posting bank payments and receipts to the ledgers accordingly
• Reconciliation of FX bank accounts and preparation of monthly reconciliation report.
• Obtain approval for posting reconciling journals in the same month
• General ledger management
• Reconciliation of all off-takers accounts
• Management of all forward and spot FX transactions
• Finance support and filing of documentation related to posted transactions
• Provide input for monthly Management Account
• Management of Loan book of the company
• Contract management

Requirements

• Minimum of Higher National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
• Proven minimum of six years’ experience as an account officer
• ICAN certification is an added advantage
• Time management skill
