    SME Business Lead

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME Business Lead to drive our Business Banking proposition providing stress-free banking, payment solutions, and tailored loans to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The ideal candidate will lead and drive our efforts in facilitating financial solutions for SMEs, fostering growth and prosperity in the business community.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance access to stress-free banking, payment solutions, and tailored loans for SMEs.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and cultivate relationships with SME clients, understanding their financial needs, and tailoring solutions accordingly.
    • Play a key role in achieving sales targets by providing strategic direction and support to the sales team.
    • Explore new business opportunities to expand our SME portfolio and market presence.
    • Work closely with product development teams to create innovative financial products and services tailored to the unique requirements of SMEs.
    • Instill a result-oriented mindset within the sales team, emphasizing the achievement and surpassing of sales targets.
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of sales strategies, adjusting as needed to maximize outcomes.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the stability and security of SME financial transactions and loan portfolios.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
    • 5 - 7 years proven experience in SME banking, with a track record of successful business development and leadership across Business/SME Banking and Lending OR in FMCG distribution.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial products and services tailored for SMEs.
    • Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance in the financial sector.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
