    Social Media Officer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Officer at MANI located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
    • The Social Media Officer will post, monitor, review, and analyze comments and conversations on MANI's social media sites and also on external social media.
    • Manage the organisation's social media visibility, and review social media campaigns.
    • Review all social media posts for accuracy and ensure inappropriate content is removed.
    • Create engagement on all of MANI's social media platforms.
    • Advocate for mental health awareness through creative and impactful storytelling.

    Qualifications

    • BSc. A bachelor's degree in Communication, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 2 years experience as a social media officer, or a similar role, preferably within the non-profit or advocacy sector.
    • Excellent knowledge of social media best practices.
    • Ability to effectively use a variety of social media platforms and Analytic tools.
    • Ability to run ADs. Analytical and multitasking skills.
    • Strong understanding of mental health issues, advocacy, and related terminologies.
    • Computer Literate: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Word Press

    Safeguarding Responsibilities:

    • Promote a culture of safeguarding by ensuring that all online interactions are respectful and safe.
    • Ensure all social media content protects the dignity and privacy of individuals, particularly those with lived experience of mental health issues.
