    Social Media Officer

    Job Summary

    • As a Social Media Officer, you will manage online presence, create engaging content, and drive strategic campaigns to enhance brand visibility
    • Remote or on-site, this full-time role offers exciting projects and continuous learning.

    Responsibilities
    Social Media Strategy:

    • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to enhance brand presence and engagement with the Nigerian audience

    Content Creation & Curation:

    • Design and curate a localized social media content calendar for Facebook and Instagram, ensuring daily posts that resonate with the local audience.

    Performance Analysis:

    • Analyse and report on social media performance.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the Marketing Team to align social media initiatives with broader campaigns, promotions, and brand messaging.

    Trend Monitoring:

    • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep our strategies current and effective.

    Competitive Analysis:

    • Monitor competitors on social media, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for strategic improvement.

    Influencer & Collaboration Sourcing:

    • Identify and engage local influencers and websites for potential collaborations to amplify our brand’s reach.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
    • Proven experience of at least 1 year as a Social Media Officer or in a similar role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet established deadlines with high attention to detail
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
