    Store Keeper

    • The Store Keeper in a fashion house is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of fashion products, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
    • This role involves receiving, storing, and issuing goods, as well as maintaining accurate records of all inventory movements. The Store Keeper plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store's supply chain and contributes to the overall efficiency of the fashion house.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Receive, verify, and inspect incoming stock, ensuring that all items match the order specifications.
    • Organize and store products in an orderly and accessible manner in the storage area.
    • Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits to monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies.
    • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
    • Ensure that the stockroom is well-organized, clean, and safe, following proper storage procedures.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to reorder stock when necessary.
    • Prepare and submit inventory reports, highlighting any issues or discrepancies.
    • Issue stock to the sales floor or production team as needed, ensuring that items are properly documented.
    • Replenish stock on the sales floor, ensuring that all products are displayed according to the store's merchandising standards.
    • Maintain and update inventory records using the store's inventory management system.
    • Ensure that all inventory documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible.
    • Work closely with the sales and production teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels accordingly.
    • Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate the movement of goods between the warehouse and the store.
    • Inspect products for any damage or defects before storage and issue, and report any quality issues to the relevant department.
    • Ensure that returned items are processed and stored according to the company's return policy.
    • Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of the store's inventory.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to inventory management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in any related field or a certificate in inventory management
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a fashion house or retail environment.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
