Strategy Manager at Cornerstone Insurance PLC

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day activities and workflows of the unit.
• Tracking progress against goals and reporting on unit performance.
• Identifying and resolving operational issues within their unit.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration within the unit and with other departments
• Spearhead strategic planning by conducting in-depth research on market trends, competitors, customer needs, regulations, and emerging technologies to identify disruptive opportunities; develop competitive differentiation strategies, and capture market share.
• Champion the development of groundbreaking insurance solutions by identifying unmet customer needs; collaborate with product development teams; ensure new offerings align with the company's strategic vision and deliver long-term value.
• Spearhead the development of innovative insurance solutions, identifying unmet customer needs; collaborate with product development teams to translate these insights into reality; ensure new offerings align with the company's strategic vision and create sustainable value.
• Foster strategic growth by identifying and analyzing potential partners for capability enhancement, market access, and value creation; negotiate and establish strategic partnerships, and manage them for optimal value delivery.
• Bridge communication gaps by articulating the company's strategic vision and goals to diverse audiences, fostering clear departmental alignment; collaborate effectively with senior leadership and other departments to achieve strategic objectives through a culture of open communication and collaboration.

Person Specification

• Higher Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a relevant field
• Associates Chartered Institute of Insurance of Nigeria (ACIIN)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• 7 years of relevant experience in finance
