Job Description

• Starting, driving, parking, reversing, loading and unloading heavy vehicles.
• Positioning vehicles ready for loading and unloading.
• Identifying and avoiding hazards.
• Performing safety checks and mechanical inspections.
• Ensuring safe distribution and restraint of loads in the tip tray.
• Planning routes and maintaining vehicle logbooks.
• Adhering to safety policies and OH&S guidelines.
• Using gears correctly to minimise wear on the engine and gearbox.
• Operating hydraulic tipping and lifting mechanisms.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with at least 5 years work experience.
