    Trainer & QAHSE (OAM)

    Job Objective

    Working for Open Access Technical Services (OATS) to provide training and QAHSE for Open Access Metro (OAM)

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coach and train employees, clients and contractors as required, lead in developing training materials, technical, soft skills, QAHSE
    • Manage a role-based competency plan
    • Develop OATS Academy, internal and external accreditation
    • Provide Quality, Heath & Safety and the Environment services for OAM, work with WIOCC Group to assist in developing and improving policies, process and procedures, audits and inspections
    • Ensure all OAM field operations, internal and 3rd party comply with QAHSE
    • Manage and report on incidents, injuries, near misses
    • Undertake risk assessments, identify risks, maintain risk register and mitigate and control

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field

    Experience & Skills

    • Technical and Vocational Education and Training experience
    • Requires minimum of 5 years experience in QAHSE including experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge of H&S regulations and requirements in Nigeria
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills evidenced by work history and accomplishments
    • Excellent communication and soft skills, including ability to listen, summarise and concisely share key information with clients
    • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
