    Training Centre Manager

    Training Centre Management

    1. Manage the operations of the Training Centre in alignment with BTHF's strategic and operational plans.
    2. Set the Training Centre’s short- and long-term goals, and manage it’s budgets.
    3. Lead the process of creating and implementing training programmes for the Centre.
    4. Promote available training modules internally and externally and provide information about their contents.
    5. Manage operational and administrative schedules of the Centre; and maintain records and accounts receivable.
    6. Manage and maintain all training facilities, tools and equipment.
    7. Guarantee the successful execution of training sessions and provide the trainers and trainees with the tools and resources they need.

    Curriculum Ddesign

    1. Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house).
    2. Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts on instructional design.
    3. Develop technical training courses for various needs and levels.
    4. Collaborate with educational institutions to provide additional or specialized training.
    5. Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques. This includes digitization of training, and it implies reimagining the current education and training processes with the help of digital technologies (example: by adopting digital solutions such as online courses or VR experiences, ….).
    6. Design, prepare and acquire educational aids and materials.
    7. Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
    8. Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.

    Strategy

    1. Work with others to draw BTHF training budget. 
    2. Research and recommend new training methods, like e-learning and gamification.
    3. Plan future training programs based on business goals.

    Employee Training

    1. Work with supervisors and with the information deduced from employee performance appraisals to participate in the Foundation’s training needs and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
    2. Work with supervisors to propose appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. e-learning, simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes) that address employee training needs.
    3. Assess instructional effectiveness and evaluate the impact of training on employee skills.
    4. Map out annual training plans for the Foundation’s management.
