    Truck & Car Electrician

    Salary: #100,000-#150,000 (monthly)

    The Truck & Car Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems and components of trucks and cars. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive electrical systems and the ability to work efficiently and effectively to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Diagnostics and Repair:

    • Diagnose electrical issues in trucks and cars using diagnostic tools and equipment.
    • Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including wiring, alternators, starters, batteries,and lighting systems.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electronic control systems and sensors.

    Maintenance:

    • Perform routine maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
    • Inspect electrical systems and components regularly to identify potential issues before they
    • become major problems.

     Installation:

    • Install electrical components and accessories such as alarms, GPS systems, and communication devices.
    • Ensure all installations are performed to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

    Testing:

    • Conduct tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
    • Use specialized testing equipment to identify issues and verify repairs.

    Documentation:

    • Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance, and installations performed.
    • Complete job cards and reports accurately and timely.

    Customer Service:

    • Communicate effectively with customers to explain the nature of electrical problems and the work required.
    • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive electrical systems
    • preferred.
    • Proven experience as an automotive electrician, preferably with experience in both trucks and cars.
    • Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
    • Ability to work in various positions, including lying on the back or standing for extended periods.
    • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
