    VP - Product

    Job Summary

    • The VP of Product is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the product strategy for the company.
    • This role involves managing the product lifecycle from conception through launch and ensuring products meet customer needs and business objectives across the multiple markets Renda plays in.
    • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market, the competition, and technology trends, and will be adept at leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that aligns with business objectives and solves customer pain points.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Develop and manage a product roadmap that addresses market needs and supports the company's strategic objectives.
    • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch activities.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Growth, Operations and customer support teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
    • Ensure product development processes are efficient and effective, incorporating best practices in agile methodologies.
    • Drive cross-functional team alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points through direct interaction, surveys, and analysis.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is integrated into the product development process.
    • Drive customer-centric innovation to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact.
    • Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to iterate and improve.
    • Report on product metrics and progress to the management and stakeholders.
    • Develop and manage the product development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to product development and launch.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
    • 6-7 years’ work experience with progressive growth from operations to product leadership or within the product management vertical preferably at a logistics, enterprise, SaaS or ecommerce startup.
    • Demonstrated expertise in data-driven end-to-end product development, a strong product craft and a technical background, with previous experience building and setting vision for platform products
    • Resourceful and innovative to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges
    • Analytical, data-driven and with strong business acumen
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter who owns responsibility for the risks and rewards of running an innovative sustainable operation
    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies.
    • Strong understanding of technology trends and the ability to translate them into viable product solutions that can scale multiple markets
    • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
    • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a fast-paced environment.
