Warehouse Assistant (Foodstore) at NewRest Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate inventory management, maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Receive and inspect food deliveries, verifying quality and quantity.
• Store products in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to food safety standards.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve daily targets and goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues.
• Comply with food safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment (food industry preferred).
• BSc, High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift items / packages (up to 35 lbs. / 15 kg)
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Most have knowlege of FIFO and FEFO process.
• Basic computer skills is required.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to work mornings, day, weekends (depending on assigned shift)
