Web Developer at Assets Microfinance Bank

Job Summary:

• The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, and maintaining web applications that enhance the digital banking experience for our customers.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, user-friendly, and high-performance web solutions.
• Your expertise in web technologies and understanding of the financial industry will be crucial in ensuring that our web applications meet both user expectations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, and maintain web applications for various banking services, ensuring they are functional, secure, and responsive.
• Implement and enhance user interfaces using modern front-end technologies, focusing on user experience and accessibility.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate web applications with banking systems and services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Apply best practices for web security to protect sensitive financial data and comply with industry regulations and standards.
• Work closely with design, UX/UI, and product teams to ensure web applications meet business requirements and user needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or equivalent experience is also acceptable.
• Knowledge in web development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Knowledge with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, or next.js)
• Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of web security practices and data protection measures.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
